THE GLOWING LIFE FOUNDATION

The Glowing Life Foundation is a non-profit charitable organization registered in Thailand, established in December 2008 to help children and young people who are vulnerable in society.

For example, these would include orphans and the very needy who could be at great risk if left to cope on their own. The foundation aims to provide a loving, stable and safe family environment in its homes for the people who live there. It will seek to teach life skills and develop vocational skills in addition to supporting school education. Our hope is to continue to support the teenagers through a higher education and university, if that is appropriate.

Our goal is to see young people transition from the home as mature, confident, law abiding citizens who are able to manage their emotions, their responsibilities, as well as leading a life of faith in God.

We are based in the northern region of Chiang Rai where there are a great many hill tribe people as well as Thais. This brings cultural and religious differences along with social and demographic challenges. We believe as we allow God to lead us as a team, replicating the love and compassion He has shown us, we will see very positive changes in the lives of the people we come into contact with.

มูลนิธิชีวิตส่องสว่างเป็นองค์กรการกุศล ขึ้นทะเบียนจัดตั้งในประเทศไทย เมื่อปี พ.ศ. 2551 เพื่อช่วยเหลือเด็กและผู้ที่ด้อยโอกาสทางสังคม เช่น เด็กกำพร้าหรือผู้ด้อยโอกาสที่อยู่ในความเสี่ยง

มูลนิธิฯ มีเป้าหมายในการมอบความรัก ความรู้สึกมั่นคง และสภาพแวดล้อมที่ปลอดภัยสำหรับทุกคนที่อาศัยอยู่ภายใน มีการสอนทักษะชีวิตและทักษะทางวิชาชีพเสริมจากการเรียนขั้นพื้นฐาน หากเป็นไปได้ เราหวังที่จะได้ช่วยเหลือให้ทุกคนได้เรียนสูงขึ้นในระดับมหาวิทยาลัย เราอยากเห็นคนหนุ่มที่จะเติบโตขึ้นเป็นผู้ใหญ่ มีความมั่นใจ เคารพกฎหมาย มีความรับผิดชอบ ควบคุมอารมณ์ และมีชีวิตแห่งความเชื่อในพระเจ้า

มูลนิธิชีวิตส่องสว่างตั้งที่จังหวัดเชียงราย ภาคเหนือของประเทศไทย ที่ซึ่งมีหลากหลายชาติพันธิ์ รวมทั้งคนไทย สิ่งนี้นำมาซึ่งความแตกต่างทางด้านศาสนา และวัฒนธรรม อีกทั้งอุปสรรคทางด้านภูมิศาสตร์และสังคม เราเชื่อว่า เมื่อเรายอมให้พระเจ้าทรงนำเราในการทำงานร่วมกันเป็นทีม ส่งต่อความรัก และพระเมตตาที่พระองค์ได้ทรงสำแดงให้แก่เรา เราก็จะเห็นการเปลี่ยนแปลงในด้านบวกที่จะเกิดขึ้นในชีวิตของผู้คนที่เราได้มีโอกาสไปสัมผัสด้วย
